Persistent connections prevent php fpm worker respawning

Description

When a php-fpm worker hit "pm.max_requests" requests, it is supposed to be killed and respawned by the manager. Using persistent connections prevents this behavior, the worker stays in "finishing" state, the server ends up with no more worker available.

Environment

  • Ubuntu 12.04 lts

  • nginx 1.9

  • php-fpm 5.5.23
